--- DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE was born in Flanders, France. He was married to Susanne THIBAUT DE CHAMPLAURIERR who was also born in France. They had the following children

i. Jeanne DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE who married Hercule DE GARTOULLE who came to Ireland with King William as a lieutenant in La Caillemotte's Reg. of French Foot and retired to live in Portarlington

ii. Pierre DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE was born about 1659 in France. He fled intoHolland where he served under William of Orange. He served as a lieutenant in La Caillemotte's Reg. of French Foot which was disbanded in March 1699. He received a commission as a lieutenant in La Fabreque's Dragoons and was killed in a naval engagement with a 50 gun French man-of-war while an his way from Cork to join his regiment in Portugal.

He was married to Dame Marie Henriette DE QUESTEBRUNE and they had the following children:

i. Susanne DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE . She was baptised on 16 May 1706 in the French Church, Portarlington

ii. Jean DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE who was born in Portarlington on 17 Sep 1708. He died in 1733.

iii. Esther Judith DE CHIZADOUR DE BETTE was born on 27 Sep.1709 in Portarlington. She was baptised on 28 Sep 1709 in the French Church, Portarlington. She died on 8 Jan 1759 in Portarlington.
